Gazing at the Vancouver sky...

Many people will walk in and out of your life,
but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.

Feel the real

It was like a dream to be able to went to Whistler.
Skiing at Whistler was Sang's long-cherished dream... LoL=3

The whole 5 days 4 nights story starts from here.
Sang met his brother at YVR after 7 months.
For the first few days before Sang's friends got to Whistler,
Sang and his brother were trying to feel bunch of trails at WhistlerBlackcomb.

Ahhh~ unbelievable!!
there were over 50cm of fresh powder!!
It was so good!!!!
They were skiing here and there, ridges and bowls.

This natural snow is the very thing that Sang really really wanted to be experienced for long...

On 3rd day, Sang's friend came up to Whistler and they were finally united. \^^/
Jiho, Miyoung, Machi, Eric and Julie

They all had a ultimate blast together.
Everybody seemed happy so Sang was so delighted.

His brother made them crazy laughing with his super blunt Gyeongsang-do dialect.

Jiho was teasing Julie constantly. funnily it really worked.kkk

Julie? She's so dangerous girl. It was around 3 am. She suddenly woke Eric up and let him turned off the light. Jesus!!! Even though Eric was taking a deeeep deeep sleep, she didn't care about it... @@

Machi, who were rescued by ski patrol on her 1st day, gave cheers when she succeeded in stacking up her blocks at the Zenga game. ^ㅅ^// You were great!
Actually this trip might be kind of "NHK Let's study Korean at Whistler" to her... ^^;;
But you've got along with them very well. Sang really appreciates her outstanding adaptation!

Eric, the special Chief Executive Chef (CEC) always sticked to his gun.
He never changed his cooking mystique... fortunately his dine was so tasty...
He will be killed unless it was delicious.. >_<;;

Trip was so good and also meaningful.
Hope this would remain on everyone's unforgettable memory forever...

I know your favourite

Chocolat, a delicious movie.
While I was watching this film, while I was seeing Vianne maked such a appetizing chocolat balls and gluey hot chocolat, I felt like a unbearable temptations of a Godiva's brand new hot chocolat.

After a few days later... finally today!
I went Godiva on Robson with Machi who also really loves chocolat like sweets.
Actually we had a ice choco latte before and saw this brand new item and had been watching for a chance to have this since about a week ago.kkk

Chocolates look fresh from the mold pride themselves through the display window.
They seemed saying something like "Ladies and gentle man~ pls pick me up~! I already dressed up for you~!! \^^/
There is also a Japanese shop assistant who said "오랫만이야" to me. (means "long time no see")
Products are posting very gorgeously and well organized as usual.
Sometimes when I pass by this shop, it reminds me a Praline Chocolat of Neuhaus in Chongdam-dong, Seoul. And it also presents to me sort of a blurry juvenile mind. *^^*

Well, this line from Forest Gump just comes in mind...
"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
What about the love? I think it's also same.
We can't pick the sweetest and ultimate chocolat in just one single try.

Sometimes... we would find a spicy whiskey-like one...
and sometimes slightly bitter mint-like one..
and sometimes tasty almond one.
Eventually we could find the one that make you fall into a trance. @@;;

Hope we do not judge a book by its cover.
Every single chocolate might has a charm in their own way...
Right?

Wet street and emotion

The year changes and welcome the New Year.
It's 8th month that I've been staying in Vancouver.
Many of my friends has already left Vancouver and a few others might be leave sooner or later.
Sometimes I make a habit of thinking that how it will be awesome if I could meet them some where in the world or in Vancouver again.
Every single mement that I spent with them... I think I will miss it so much...

Today, I am putting my memories into my camera again...

Various street scene

Photo is a memory of the moment.
Today, I'd like to share some of the street moments that I've took this winter.

The view that I took in my class room just before the end of the year and the bus stop on Arbutus that I always use.

Robson street on Boxing day week and a street performer and some volunteers in front of the Art Museum.

Simple Christmas-decorated fire station and
a police man who has a chat in the downbeat afternoon.
